At Elves for Elders, the process is simple but powerful. Together, we make sure every elders feels seen and celebrated at Christmas. Here's how it works:
We partner with nursing homes, assissted living facilities, and community centers to gather names of elders who may not have family nearby this Christmas.
Each elder shares simple wants and needs, from cozy socks and blankets to favorite snacks and small gifts.
We place trees in community locations with ornaments or tags containing each elder's wishlist. Community members can choose a tag and become an elf.
Community members pick a tag, shop for the elder's figts, and return them unwrapped. Our volunteer team handles the wrapping and final delivery.

Hey y’all, I’m Lillie 👋 I’m the face (and heart) behind Elves for Elders. When I’m not planning Christmas magic, I’m usually working at Walmart, hanging out with my two cats, or diving into a good book. Writing has always been a passion of mine, but so has giving back—especially to seniors during the holidays.

At Elves for Elders, we’re always learning and adjusting to make the program run more smoothly while keeping the heart of what we do alive. After last year, we realized a few changes needed to be made so that every elder’s gifts could be received without any problems.
Last year, Elves for Elders grew in ways I never could have imagined. When we began, I thought maybe we’d collect around 200, possibly 300 gifts at the very most. But thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to provide over 450 gifts—serving elders across Searcy, Beebe, Cabot, Austin, and the areas in between.
